About us title
Edgewater, New Jersey's Marmaris Cafe serves authentic Turkish cuisine prepared by Turkish trained chefs. Owner and Turkish native Hakan Ozcilingir decided to open an authentic Turkish cafe when he had difficulty finding a place to relax with friends over a meal that reminded him of his days growing up in Turkey.
Marmaris features a Chef de Cuisine, Appetizer chef, and Pizza chef who work together to provide customers with unforgettably flavorful dishes. Marmaris is open 7 days a week from morning to evening for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast specialties include two types of breakfast plates filled with cheeses, olives, vegetables, jams, honey, kaymak cream, butter, pastrami, sucuk, home fries, and eggs. The menu also includes an array of savory and breakfast pastries, omelettes, and eggs.
Marmaris is also perfect for lunch or dinner. Our Lahmacun, Pizzas, and Pide are perfect for large groups or those with big appetites. Our salads and appetizers are made from scratch with the highest quality ingredients. Our main courses offer diners a multitude of options - from pastas to shish kebabs, bronzini to lamb chops, sac tava to chicken wings.
Finish off your meal, or just swing by, for our desserts, coffees, and teas. We are famous for our homemade, oven baked Künefe - a plate of shredded wheat, sweet cheese, and special syrup. But we also make our own rice pudding and feature almond pudding, baklavas, kazandibi, and a variety of cakes, pies, and ice cream. We have a vast collection of herbal teas and coffees, including Turkish coffee.
You will enjoy your meal at a relaxing and cozy cafe atmosphere in the heart of downtown Edgewater. The cafe was designed to mirror the cafes of Turkey, from the decor to the tables and chairs and the outdoor patio.
So if you're in the mood for a real taste of Turkey, stop by Marmaris Cafe in Edgewater!
